Lock marked "Newton" with fine engraving to lock, breech area and butt plate, action strong with platinum blow out plug. Metal work with an aged patina. Wood good, sharp checkering to wrist and forewood, fitted with clean escutcheon plate. Comes complete with ram rod. A nice quality percussion arm. In good overall condition.
