303: Pistol. .45cal Percussion Boxlock Pocket Pistol, 3 5/8" octagonal barrel, brass frame and back strap, steel barrel, Birmingham proofed with mottled silver grey patina. Brass action foliate engraved. Good checkered wooden grips, German silver escutcheon and butt plate. Good strong action. GC Pic
304: Pistol. 50cal Flintlock Pocket Pistol. 3" round barrel with boxlock action. Quite good blue finish, strong action, safety at rear of trigger, silver inlay on butt. Removeable barrel, frozen but should be able to be removed. Action mkd Lowe and Chester on sides. Attractive little item. GC Pic
305: Pistol. 70cal Boxlock Percussion Pocket Pistol. 2 3/4" round barrel, bag handled grips, concealed folding trigger. Metalwork a mottled silver grey. Action at fault, silver escutcheon on grip, hinged butt cap. Fair + C Pic
306: Pistol, 9mm Mauser C96 Broomhandle Semi Automatic Pistol. 5.5" barrel, bore worn. Metal work has thinning military finish with numerous bright areas and patches of pitting. Rear sight is a replacement. Frame stamped "Waffenfabrik Mauser Oberndorf A. Neckar" and "2139" on barrel. Matching serial numbers. Wooden grips have carved large red ‘9’s and appear to be replacements. C/w wooden shoulder stock holster (stamped ‘765’) with usual dings and bruises GC. 307: Pistol, 9mm Luger P08 Artillery Semi Automatic Pistol. 8" barrel, bore good. Metal work has most military finish remaining with minor pitting to sides of frame. Stamped "DWM 1917" all matching numbers (including firing pin), except magazine. Wooden grips in good condition with minor bruise to R/H grip. Wooden magazine base plate has a small chip. 311: Pistol, 9mm Makarov Semi Automatic Pistol. 3.5" barrel, bore very good. Metal work has most blued finish remaining, thinning on pistol grip front strap. Receiver stamped "1976". 312: Oerlikon 20mm Anti-Aircraft gun by Royal Ordnance Mkd OE Mk2 S/N S50036. Receiver retains most finish and is complete with internal trigger assembly, breech block and brass trigger cover plate. Does not have internal breech bolt connector or sight assembly. Barrel spring case is the later example with a slight lip at the end and the buffer springs are the round Mk2 type. Shoulder rests have been repainted and the leather padding is intact. The shoulder rests mount differently to normal on a shaft protruding from the top of the hand grips. The magazine has been repainted and period stenciling applied. Barrel is a Mk3 type S/N 132189 and retains most exterior finish. Internally it is packed with storage grease so wear of the bore is unknown. An Oerlikon in a slightly different configuration to what is normally seen. A heavy item - No Postals Please. Fitted with black plastic butt and pistol grip, missing recoil screw cap. Black bipod wood. Refer to Skennerton’s "SLR Australia’s FN-FAL" book, page 111, this item has the serial number which is the first listed weapon of the first batch supplied to the NZ Army, very collectable item of NZ Military history.
