| 352: | German Naval Officers Dress Sword. Possibly from "Weimar" period. 29 1/4" blade pipe back style. Some areas of light rust and staining. Made by E & F Forster, Solingen, also has makers Logo. Gilt brass bowl, decorated with florals. Twin "fold downs" one with fouled anchor device, the other with Arsenal issue number N982. Lion mane and head backstrap, celluliod wire bound grips. In its leather 3 brass mounts 2 ring suspension. Top locket stamped N982 Eagle with M stamp. Approx 90% gilt remaining. VGC

| 353: | Nazi SA Dagger. 8 1/2" double edged blade, "Alles Fur Deutschland" motto, makers logo Paul Seilheimer Solingen with PS in circle. Blade good with some light staining. Wear marks where scabbard retainer spring has gripped blade. German silver crossguard with "S" stamp. Also pommel. Rosewood grip with Nazi Eagle and SA roundel insert. Some light scratches and dents to wood. Steel scabbard with two mounts and suspension ring to top mount. Approx 75% original paint remains. Vendor's note states. Liberated from Dusseldorf Police Station by Army mate in 1945. GC

| 354: | Nazi Luftwaffe 2nd Pattern Dagger and Hangers and Portapee. Clean 10 1/4" double edged blade with Eickhorn and Squirrel Logo. Solingen Luftwaffe Eagle and Swastika on crossguard. Wire bound composite grips with Swastika and Oak Leaves Pommel. Silver Porapee in good condition. Streel pebbeled design scabbard with Oak Leaves at bottom. Two suspension mounts. Complete with its hanger straps, clips and belt clip. VGC

| 355: | British Victorian Naval Sword 1827 Pattern. 30" x 1 1/4" single fullered blade terminating to spear point 12" from point. Blade etched with Florals, Fouled Anchor and Crown, Coat of Arms. Some areas of staining, light rust between 7 to 13 inches from point. Made by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London.Serial No 5133. Brass bowl with Crown and Fouled Anchor Device. Lion head pommel with mane backstrap. Good wirebound fish skin grip. Named to A.C.S.Blackett R.N.in floral banner. Leather scabbard with 3 mounts, 3 ring suspension. Leather has large crack at top of bottom mount, also seam stitching missing. Very little gilt finish remaining. With its brief Navy Career of A.C.S. Blackett from the National Maritime Museum. In its non original carry case. Good plus Condition.

| 356: | Sword - Imperial German Sword & Scabbard. 800 mm long blade. Is profusely etched for half its length with florals etc and has "Feldmebel Steinarker 1914 - 1917" (Feldmebel means NCO). Made by P D & Co with maker mark. Wire bound celluloid grip with Wilhelm cypher. Folding guard has Imperial eagle and remnants of sword knot. Guard has lost its gold finish and blade had numerous edge nicks. Scabbard is painted black with a small knot. Overall G.C. |

| 357: | Sword - British 1821 Pattern Officers Sword. 900 mm blade etched with VR cypher, crown scroll etc. Has what appears to be owners initials. Marked Hobson & Sons London with proof mark. Some dark staining to blade. Wire bound shark skin grip is good. Three bar hilt has been chrome platted with some platting lifting otherwise G.C. No Scabbard. |

| 359: | Sword. British 1897 Pattern Infantry Officers Sword. 32 1/2" blade with VR Cypher, Crown and scrolls etc. Guard has VR Cypher and leather sword knot. Good wire bound grip, leather scabbard with metal fittings. Some minor rust stains to blade and some rust to scabbard fittings otherwise GC.

| 360: | British Naval Officers Light Dress Sword 1805 Pattern. Circa 1812-1825. 28 3/4" slender double edged blade, fullered diamond section with areas of pitting and stained overall. Faint etching, no makers marks. Brass stirrup hilt, brass backstrap with Lion head, ivory grips, cracks and repair to large piece, pommel end of grip. Twin langets with Crown and Fouled Anchor Device. Sword knot in poor condition. Wooden lacquered scabbard, 3 brass mounts may not be original. Sword does not fit scabbard fully, 2 splits to joins in wood. FC

| 362: | Bowie knife by Smith & Co, Sheffield. Circa 1855. O/A length 290mm (11 ¾ inch). Original highly polished clip pointed blade with eagle etching and "PANAMA" Nickel silver cutlery style grip and guard. Makers name on the ricasso. Some scratches to blade and a few minor rust spots. Leather sheath with nickel silver mounts. Both in VGC for age. (For an identical knife with no etching, see Burtons "A Sure Defence" book, knife number 78.)

| 364: | Knife Custom Bowie/Hunting knife. Blade is 200 layer Damascus steel (1085/15N25 mix) , 12" overall, 7.5" blade. Staghorn handle, Damascas guard with filework, no makers name, blade has been sharpened. Comes with a leather sheath, VGC. |

| 366: | Knife. A Fairburn-Sykes 3rd Pattern Fighting Knife. 6 7/8" blade blued as is ribbed alloy grip. No markings. Blade has been slightly sharpened with blueing thinning. In its brass mounted leather sheath with tabs removed. Vendor states this knife was carried by his father in the British SAS during WW2 and includes his SAS cloth patch mounted in a glass frame 7" x 7". Plus his Military Compass dated 1943 in its canvas pouch plus approx 25 documents including letters, service records and photos (photocopies) showing his Father in Jeeps, Landing craft blown-up trains and submarines etc. All in good condition. A nice historical lot. |

Explosive is replaced with turned piece of wood with centre hole for detonator which is discharged by pulling piece of spring steel with firing pin to .22cal rimfire which discharges and lights fuze. Rust to spring, borer in wood (treated) but overall in good original condition. |
