1451: Military Rifle - No 3* .303 cal rifle by Lithgow dated 1941. 24 1/2 inch barrel bore very good. Metal good with matching numbers to sight, muzzle cap and bolt. Wood in good condition with green painted band on stock. Right hand side of butt market "M.A. Lithgow SMLE 3* HV 1942". Fitted with web sling. A nice item in good overall condition. 1452: Military Rifle - German GEW 98 rifle, breech marked "SPANDAU 1914", barrel 29 1/2 ", bore dirty metal work with aged patina. Bolt missing. Wood usual dents and dings, stock has been cut diagonally below rear sight. Comes with leather sling. Fair condition serial number 2019.
1453: Military Rifle. .303 No5 Mk1 bolt action Jungle Carbine. Dated 1945. Bore good, metal with much finish, matching numbers to bolt, action and mag. Magazine renumbered to match rifle. Rifle has F.T.R marks to action. Wood VG with some minor scuffs to LH side of butt. Fitted with a web sling. S/N BB7401 A very nice carbine in VGC Pic
1454: Military Rifle. .303 SMLE Mk3 bolt action rifle by LSA Co dated 1915. 24 1/2" barrel with good bore. Metal with most finish remaining, mismatched numbers. Fitted with a magazine cut-off and lobbing sights. Wood is varnished with oil bottle and pull thru in butt. Brass roundel on butt mkd 10-21 2CY 711. Wood with an armourers repair forward of rear sight and otherwise in usual condition with knocks and bruises. S/N 6465 GC
1455: Military Rifle. .303 Mk1* bolt action rifle by BSA Co dated 1901. Rifle has a Mk3 heavy barrel fitted and is in Club pattern configuration. 24 1/2" bore fair. Metal a grey patina with Parker Hale BA27 scope mount fitted. Brass plate has NZ markings. Wood in fair condition with no top wood and has a piece missing to RH side of breech. S/N A44601 FC

1457: Aero Gyro horizon indicator. No AN5736-1. 86mm dia face 190mm long 116mm dia body 4.75" pc mounting . Face mounted, inner face missing, internals visible. Manufactured by C.G.Conn Ltd under lic to Sperry Gyroscope Co Inc NY.
1458: Aero Directional Gyro. Part No 643715 Ser 44798. 63mm dia semi circular glass face. 20 x 44 mm viewing window with revolving drum type scale. Case approx 115mm square box shape with 63mm dia mesh covered vent in bottom of case. 103mm square mounting face, zeroing adjustment on front face. Repainted condition.

1466: German WWI round tobacco tin. With sprung loaded hinged lid, miniature Iron Cross on lid. Iron Cross dated 1914. No dents to body or lid slight pitting to metal work GC to VGC for age. A nice item Pic

1476: Ink drawing named ‘That will be the Day’ by Tom Bell who was an accomplished artist who served in both World Wars. His cartons were printed in the NZEF Times during WW2. All his cartoons bore the main heading "That will be the Day". This one is named "The mess is run to suit Gunner Mugs Enamel". A piece of NZ Military history, framed and in excellent condition. Pic
