| 1551: | Revolver, .230RF Tranter No.1 7 Shot Revolver. 2.5" hexagon barrel, bore badly pitted. Bronze frame with Tranter oval patent stamp. Barrel and cylinder with even brown patina, L/H side of frame has vice marks. Barrel has W.Richards Melbourne stamped on top. Later variation with straight arbour release lever. Appears to have replacement cylinder rod. (Ref pg 99-100 "Firearms of William Trante" by Ron Stewart) S/N 6280 GWO & C ENDORSED LICENCE REQUIRED
