Nicely engraved action with game scenes. Matching hammers with strong locks and tight action. Wood in good condition with sharp checkering and minor usage marks. A lovely old hammer gun in GC. |

| 564: | Single Barrel Percussion Muzzle Loading Punt Gun. 8 bore (measurement at muzzle .865”) Overall length 65 1/4" Lock marked James Mills. 47 ¾” round barrel with top marked James Mills Dunedin N.Z. Very strong lock, borderline engraved and with some decorative engraving also on hammer, trigger guard and grip. The barrel has been cleaned and has no original finish. Steel butt plate with tang along top of butt which has mark on top that looks like an elongated letter H, steel trigger guard and grip support. Wood is in very good condition and has German silver forend cap. Complete with wooden brass tipped ramrod. A heavy gun (approx 11 1/2lbs) in VGC. Pic  |

| 565: | Single Barrel Percussion Muzzle Loading Punt Gun. 10 bore (measurement at muzzle .780”) Overall length 59 5/8" Engraved lock marked with makers name “Westwood”, no initials or other detail. 41 ½” part octagonal and part round barrel, top has the remains of the word London but no other marks visible. Strong lock. Barrel has been cleaned and has no original finish. Stock in good condition with only minor marks. Has engraved steel trigger guard and grip, with steel butt plate. Complete with wooden brass tipped ramrod. GC |
