Print is of a Spitfire MkIXb 407 “OU V” of 485 (NZ) Squadron RAF flown by Flying Officer Johnnie Houlton on D Day 1944. Print signed by Wing Commander Warren “Smokey” Schrader, Squadron leader Harvey Sweetman, Flight Lietenant Maurice “Red” Mayston, Flying Officer Max Collet and the artist Ron Fulstow. Print measure approx 41x 53cm. Attached to the back is a number certificate of authenticity signed by the artists. The certificate provides a commentary on Ft Lt Houlton and Spitfire 407 which still fly’s today and is known as the Grace Spitfire. Flown by Carolyn Grace the only current female Spitfire pilot in the world. A nice aviation print with a strong Kiwi connection, print is in VGC |

Three speed transmission. 35,000 produced during the Second World War. Approx 3600 ended up in New Zealand after the war. Painted military green. Original leather saddle bags, tool box, front and rear black out lights, crash bars. Crankcase number CDA2087. NZ Marked under the fuel tank. Good rubber. Complete with original military operation and maintenance manual, plus parts list for Model 741B. Has been restored to original condition using original parts - horn, dip switch, fuse taps, foot stand, crash bars and brake lights. Current Registration and Warrant of Fitness in place.
