| 1212: | Russian Military Shasqua Sword. 810mm Slightly curved wide fullered blade with 150mm back edge. Stamped A187. Light pitting 100mm from point and light staining overall. Wooden grip diagonally ridged. The steel pommel is cut out at the top and a hole for a sword knot. (partly illegible) Solingen. Brass guard with recurved edges, with three bars and Prussian Eagle device. Brass ferrule and helmet style pommel. Shaped wooden grip, fish skin covered wire bound with badge applied William 2nd plus Crown and Cypher. Leather shrunk and worn in places. | 1219: | Thailand Navy Dirk. 250mm Fullered Chromed Single Edged Blade. 120mm false edge, has pitting, black rust scale. Chrome lifting approx 90mm area on one side. Brass crossguard. Elephant head pommel and backstrap, white fishskin wire wrapped grip. Scabbard of black leatherette over metal with brass chape and locket with two opposing suspension rings. Fitted with only one suspension strap. No markers mark on blade. Possible local manufacture. Loose fitting backstrap. All original gilt finish worn off. An early dirk for Siamese Navy. Circa 1900.
