QUITE AN EXTRAORDINARY COLLECTION OF BOOKS We have been privileged to be able to include a large collection of books in our 2010 auction. The list that has been placed on the website for the interest and information of collectors has come from the large and wide ranging collection of Ken McGougan. Ken was clearly an enthusiastic and discerning collector, not only of firearms and militaria in general, but of related books. His collection is, quite bluntly, huge and very impressive. For this reason not all of his books are included this year. However, the best of the collection has been and includes almost all the noted and recognised 'bibles' in the field of military collecting. We cannot possibly do justice to all of the books within our catalogue and the few photograph pages we have. They will be very full this year of the many rifles, firearms and other militaria that has come to hand. So, in order to try and meet some of the information needs of our members the list of books is now available on our website. I am sure all collectors will find something of interest. Other items will also be included as they are completed and ready to post to the website as well. Membership of a Branch and the National Association qualifies you to receive copies of all Association based auction catalogues along with the quarterly magazine, 'The Gazette'. Interested buyers are welcome to download our postal bidding form for our 2010 Auction. Bids must be submitted in New Zealand dollars. Those bidders who are not a financial member of a branch of the NZAHAA Inc will need to include credit card details on their bidding sheet. No bids will be accepted without credit card info from persons who are not members of a NZAHAA branch. Copies of the catalogue are available for the price of NZD$10 for posting within New Zealand and NZD$15 for overseas post.
