(Licensed Auctioneers) AUCTION 2011 30-31 July 2011
POSTAL BIDS CLOSE AT 5.00pm, WEDNESDAY 27TH JULY. The catalogue is nearing completion with a view to having it in the hands of the printer by mid May and in the post by the first week in June. We are very favoured to have been asked to sell what is an amazing collection of items. Part two of the deceased estate from 2010, a deceased estate in 2011 plus a collector of 50 years who has decided to move to a smaller home and can no longer accommodate what is one of the exceptional collections in this country. The collectors of today will benefit from the long term care and accumulations of the collectors of the past. The auction is being held a couple of weeks later than usual this year as the Rugby World Cup has prompted the shifting of school holidays to allow kids participation. As we have our auction in a school hall available dates have had to shift also. The dates for your calendar are – 30 and 31 July 2011. Whilst the printing of the catalogue takes a bit of time we endeavour to have the photographs up on this website as soon as we are able to do so. No lot numbers are allocated at this stage but our very competent webmaster is able to provide simple descriptions for identification purposes. NEW REGISTRATIONS Regretfully, the Branch committee have decided that we can no longer sustain the costs associated with sending the catalogues overseas without some form of recovery. Letters and a form have been sent to our existing people asking them to confirm their continued interest. For new International buyers who would like a copy of our catalogue please complete this form (click for PDF form) and email to: warbirds@clear.net.nz For new New Zealand regsitrations we will need to recover the $10.00 cost of a catalogue for the first year of registration.
